Our rich history and welcoming spirit

On  February 28, 1954, the Foundation and the groundbreaking of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church on the land on UHL Avenue was  pioneered by Rev. Fr. Bernard Renner; O. F. M.  After the contruction on November 28, 1954, he said the first mass.   Our Lady Queen of Peace holds a significant historical place in the Clearlake community. As the largest and oldest freshwater body in California, Clearlake is a popular summer destination, and our Church serves as a vital spiritual and cultural cornerstone for the Catholic community here. We offer a convenient location, a truly welcoming environment, and a diverse congregation.

A spiritual home for all

Our Lady Queen of Peace offers bilingual services, serving as a central hub for worship, local outreach, and sacraments in Lake County. Our bilingual ministry provides regular masses and confession schedules in both English and Spanish to support our diverse local population. We are also a consistent location for weekly Eucharist, holy hours, a perpetual adoration chapel, reconciliation, and ministry to the sick. Our dedicated priest is available for sick calls at homes and hospitals, ensuring spiritual care is always accessible.
